| Junior Youth At our Sunday school & Junior Youth Fellowship we strive to nurture the spiritual growth of our children and bring them into closer personal relationships with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Junior Youth Fellowship
The Junior Youth Fellowship (JYF) for young people from Std VIII to Std XII meets on Sunday mornings between 8:30 am and 9:30 am.
The fellowship begins with a general worship session with prayer, singing of choruses songs & hymns, followed by a short message by one of the teachers. This is followed by individual classes with children grouped together according to the classes in which they study at regular school. At these classes the CEEFI syllabus supplemented by other source material is used to present the Word of God as the sole authority & guide for daily living for Gods children.
During the fellowship the youngsters are encouraged to interact informally with the teacher and share their experiences and testimonies. Prayer requests help in enriching the fellowship as we pray for one anothers needs and praise God for his answers.
About 60 boys & girls attend the JYF, including boys from the hostel of the Madras Christian College Higher Secondary School. Several of the present teachers are products of the Sunday school and Junior Youth Fellowship.
